Networks and fees

Cedar’s network selector is the live source of truth. Availability can differ between environments, so check the selector before receiving, sending, using a faucet, or connecting to a crypto app.

The sender, recipient, token contract, faucet, and crypto app must use the same network as Cedar. An address may look valid on several networks; matching the address alone is not enough.

Pocket and Vault remain the same two wallet concepts when you switch networks. The selection changes the balances and activity you see—it does not move funds or create another wallet.

Normal network-fee payment is always the standard path. When an action is eligible, Cedar may also show Sponsor and select it initially. Cedar shows the payer and maximum wallet-paid fee on Review before approval.

A fee choice belongs only to the current action. Cedar does not silently change the payment mode after the action has been prepared. If a fee review expires, use the refresh action Cedar provides before approving again.

Cedar is currently testnet-only. Do not send real funds to a Cedar address.
